2024 6 27 Target 2 P 10C 100 Lonestar Thursday
I shot the P-10S on Tuesday after 12 days away from the range and shotgunned 60 rounds, no video! Ever! Went back this morning (Thursday) and took 10 shots with the P-10S and decided I just wasn't up to it, put it away, and got out the P-10C, my favorite P-10 pistol. Took 10 shots, went two clicks down, put up a fresh target, shot 10 more, then shot the last 10 shots on target 2 shown in this video. This went well. I shot a third target but eye fatigue was setting in, so this is the best I have to show for the day.

30 shots of IMI 115 gr JHP and 30 rounds of IMI, 10 at a time, on 3 targets at 100 yards Thursday. I had somewhat of a bad shooter day no really good 5 shot sequences with either ammo choice. After I got home, I went through the video and marked all 60 holes as either AA or IMI and then took a photo of the backer sheet with all 60 holes. I can't see much difference, if anything, the IMI was a l...

It's been a few weeks since last shooting the P-10F. I shot the 1911 last week and the P-10F striker gun trigger is completely different, surprise, surprise. Plus there was lots of wind the last time to the range with the P-10F. So, one target to zero and adapt to the trigger, then Target 2. First 10 still a little sloppy but closer to center, then 9 good shots out of 10, with one shooter error...

This is my "token" 1911, a mid range price, but pretty good full size 1911 that I fitted with a Kart barrel and bushing a few years ago and then put it up. I got it out last week after shooting the 97B"E" and gave it a go today. The grip is a little too narrow for me and the trigger is a little too crisp, so I struggled at times, but also got some presentable results at the beginning and end of...

The challenge on Tuesday was the wind. I had not shot the CZ 97B"E" in several months, so I was a little rusty on the first target plus I was hitting low right, so I went up 3 and left 1 click for target 2 shown here. A good day with the fine all steel .45 bullseye match gun at 100 yards.

Wind was up from Tuesday, and I struggled with vision problems for the first 30 rounds, but did ok on the last 10. P-10C, Atlanta Arms 115 jhp, 10-15 mph wind from 4-5 o'clock, overcast most of the time. Still waiting on a trigger bar from CZ-USA to finalize the triggers on my P-10 pistols.

First time out with the P-10C in a few weeks. Spent a few rounds fine tuning the zero and getting used to the trigger compared to the P-10S and F. I have not put the Apex parts in my C and S pistols yet, still waiting on trigger bars from CZ-USA. A great day in dim overcast conditions, with a little wind from 4-5 o'clock. I just need some additional trigger time with this pistol.

First time I've shot the little subcompact 3.5" barrel CZ P-10S since February, I think. The consistent practice with the P-10F on the B-6c target and Holosun sight has paid off. This is about as good as it gets for me at 100 yards with a pistol, regardless of barrel length.

Great group! Outstanding marksmanship. My CZ P 10 F has the factory threaded barrel. I’m impressed with the accuracy but I would prefer a regular one. I have replaced the elevated sights. My slide hasn’t been milled for a dot sight, still shooting irons at 74. At least for awhile , yet. Keep shooting and I’ll keep watching.

The PM barrel will be a great replacement for your threaded barrel. You could try a dovetail mount for a red dot but milling the slide is a lot cleaner. I still have dovetail mounts on my P-09 and 97B.

Yes. I have a Primary Machine match barrel in the gun now, but it shot very well with the factory barrel. The PM barrel is easier to clean, but my factory barrel was really good. Take a look at Tuesday's video to see how the gun shoots when the shooter is having a better day.

I noticed with mine, it drops free and everything, but in terms of mag insertion, if i sort of push on the bottom of the magazine towrds the muzzle as i insert it, the mag can sometimes get caught on the part of the frame under i believe, the trigger bar. Is that inherent to the firearm or just mine? Would you know by any chance? Ty!

If you’re a DIY person consider - lighter trigger return spring. Lighter hammer spring. Extra power firing pin spring. Polish the trigger bar ( particularly where the disconnector comes into contact with the trigger bar) lightly polish the disconnector. Or, send it off to a trusted gunsmith as Joe recommends. Good luck!

After each shooting session I wet a patch with BoreTech C4 carbon remover and with a jag push the wet patch right into that lead area and let sit. After it sits 15-20 min I will work the patch back and forth for several short strokes. Second patch the same but when done push all the way through. Next I wet patch just like the first one and if it does not come out clean usually a fourth patch does it. After the last wet patch I send a couple dry patches through then a lightly oiled patch to finish. Bore scoping with this method shows area forward of the chamber free of carbon. Notice I only push one patch of C4 through the barrel.
